UFLI that is...The United Flyball League International.
Why UFLI?
There are a few differences between the sanctioning organizations, NAFA and UFLI. Height dogs are measured differently in UFLI and therefore jump heights are determined accordingly. For a given dog this usually results in a lower jump height and the maximum is 12". The point structure is also somewhat different and UFLI uniquely offers the excitement of both Singles and Pairs racing. In these your dog competes for its own best time and standing as a singles or doubles racer. This gives many dogs the opportunity to get involved in flyball which might not be otherwise ready for full blown team racing.

Our Team is...
...or SDU, where each team guaranteed to have at least one bona fide working sled dog. Our logo features Siberian Huskies Maggie (left), a red/white and Zeus, a grey/white. These are the only two of Ken and Linda's six sled dogs that don't yet play flyball - but they tag along and support the others at each tournament.

For the overall benefit of flyball as a competitive dog sport, all the dogs and interested participants, we support both NAFA and UFLI.

Dogs: Timber, Indy, Garth and Chip
Best time: 20.95; 3rd place, Division 4
Highlights: Linda/Timber got a 0.000 start, but alas, the other team flagged the start ... We still count it!
Ok, so Bob was shagging balls with a Ballistic's bucket but he did such a fine job we'll let it slide! Mike (stats) and Steve (pass evaluator) are not pictured :o(

Best time: 20.525 with Timber, Indy, Garth and Chip
Singles: Sam, 5.34; Ekho, 6.52
The saying "Flyball...it's all good!" was coined by Flyball, Inc in preparation for hosting this tournament . We take this to mean whether UFLI or NAFA, it can be all good if you let it - sure is a great saying.
And a very special thanks to our new flyball friends, team WTF.....no, really, that's their name. Ok, it might stand for Watch Them Fly but we never got a straight answer. These guys offered their help in the beginning and were right there every single race. Dave called passes, Tami kept stats, Nathan box-loaded and Kyle shagged balls. It's up to you to figure out which is Nathan and which is Kyle!
